The Velvet Isle

As the night crawls and covers the sky, it is time to herd your flock and head home. Navigate the island to find your alpacas and set sail for home in your boat.

Instructions

The Escape Key to exit is currently broken (sorry!) Use your arrow keys or WASD to move
Use the mouse to move the camera
Use left click to whistle to the alpaca*
Herd your alpaca to the waiting boat
There are 7 alpaca in your flock

*Just like real alpaca, they won't always listen

Installation

Download the zip file at the bottom of this page
Make sure to keep all files together
Double click the "The Velvet Isle.exe" to play

What is this?

The Velvet Isle was created as a part of a Quarantine Jam where the theme was isolation. While our initial thought was to create something in more of a horror theme, we realized that what we really wanted to do, was to make something that was much more relaxed and calming. So we came up with the idea of being on a deserted island trying to put alpaca on a boat. And this is what happened.
